With its Leadership 2025 strategic plan, launched in April 2021, the LACROIX Group intends to almost double its size, a change in dimension driven by expansion in strategic international markets, along with the strengthening of its technological and operational leadership.

In addition, to support its strong development, LACROIX reinforces its management line with the appointment of Stéphane KLAJZYNGIER as President of LACROIX North America, of Louis POURDIEU, who is in charge of the Electronics business in the EMEA zone, and finally of Serge LAVERDURE, in the management of the LACROIX Design Center.

Supporting the strategic deployment of the Group to the international

With the acquisition of Firstronic in the United States at the end of December 2021, the Electronics activity is targeting a new domestic market, with very significant commercial potential. By occupying a strategic position in North America, LACROIX is taking an important step in the development of all its international activities.

To support this strategy, LACROIX is deploying a new dedicated organization and appointing Stéphane KLAJZYNGIER. Currently Executive Director of the Electronics business, he becomes President of LACROIX North America. He will be based in Michigan (United States), from 1Ahem October 2022 and will be responsible for supporting the integration of Firtronic in the Electronics business and the local development of the Environment and City businesses, in particular through targeted acquisitions.

Holder of an MBA in Finance from Pace University in New York, he has held various international management positions in the world of Telecommunications.
In the 1990s, his first experience in the field of portable batteries took him to Japan on behalf of the Saft group. Alcatel then commissioned him to build its mobile phone division in China, from R&D to marketing. Division of which he later became president. At that time, he also entered into a joint venture with TCL.
In 2005, he became President and CEO of Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), a group specialized in mobile telecommunications and transmission infrastructures, present in particular in Germany, the United States, France, China, Brazil and Australia.
He joined LACROIX on June 1, 2015 as General Manager of the Electronics business, becoming Executive General Manager in July 2018.

Pursue operational excellence of the Electronics activity in the EMEA zone

In addition, LACROIX announces the arrival of Louis POURDIEU to succeed Stéphane KLAJZYNGIER as Executive General Director of LACROIX’s Electronics activity in the EMEA zone, an operational position with effect from September 15, 2022. Member of the Executive Committee of the LACROIX Group , Louis POURDIEU will be responsible for continuing to execute the strategic business plan with ambitious goals in terms of customer satisfaction and operational performance.

Graduated from Centrale Paris and holder of an MBA from Insead, Louis POURDIEU has more than 25 years of experience in the operational and product departments of the main groups in the Automotive sector – Faurecia and Valeo, where he held the position of CEO of the JV between Valeo and Siemens in the field of high voltage transmission components.

Strengthen the technological leadership ofu-design THE CROSS

Finally, an important pillar of its strategic plan, LACROIX is strengthening the design offer direction of the Electronics activity by appointing Serge LAVERDURE as its leader, effective September 12, 2022.

Its main mission, capitalizing in particular on the technological platforms developed within the City and Environment activities, is to support the strategic development of LACROIX’s design offer through the development of industrial IoT solutions, artificial intelligence and product design, electronic and mechatronic equipment for critical applications. in the industrial, home automation, automotive and medical sectors.

Backed by an early R&D career with the Safran group, Serge LAVERDURE then specialized in software development and embedded systems for automotive supplier Magnetti-Marelli, then Ayrton Technology, a company he co-founded and developed internationally for 10 years, and lastly, the software publisher ESI Group, in which he was notably in charge for the last 10 years of the Virtual Control and Systems and Autonomous Driving activities.
